Today I discovered that it was possible to find real countryside within walking difference! I couldn't decide which photo to choose to represent today, so I offer two: a lovely sun-mottled stream off Shady Lane just outside the village of Evington, and a view of Leicester and the hills beyond as revealed at crest of Evington Lane on the journey back into the city.
