My latest knitting project.

Someone has guerilla-labelled the Department of Museum Studies! And then I found this. And then this. Hmmm, interesting...

And, to make up for the lack of photo yesterday, here's a quick snap of another ghost sign I spotted in the Market Place.

Saturday, 21st June 2008

Still ill, and ashamed to say that I completely forgot to take my photo for the day (the first time this year!). :( But I really didn't do anything exciting enough to warrant a photographic record. I just about managed to get up and dressed, stumble down to the Co-op for provisions, and stagger back home.

Friday, 20th June 2008

Ill. I have a filthy cold and a hacking cough. About the only activity I could muster the energy for today was listing this retro bedspread (an Oxfam bargain!) on eBay. Finally convinced myself that I don't really need it, so might as well try and earn a few pennies.

Evacuated from the University Library (it was a false alarm).

growth

I just find this pleasant.

Wednesday, 18th June 2008

This has been on the Waterloo Road pedestrian walk way for at least a year - I've spotted it before, but only just got around to snapping it today on my way back from town (needed retail therapy to recover from three days of NaMu!).

Tuesday, 17th June 2008

My most favourite ghost sign to date! Spotted in the taxi on the way to my CBT assessment. I just had to go back to snap it.

Narborough Road, Leicester

Beautiful flawless blue sky. I love the summer (when we get it)!

And for completeness, here's a pic of my knitting project, complete. Sadly it is a little on the large size, but nothing a couple of judiciously placed safety pins can't solve. ;)

Nearly finished!

Time to do the old tax return (£225 rebate - can't wait to get my grubby little hands on that!).

Monday, 2nd June 2008

Ghost building on campus, adjacent to the Fielding Johnson Building. (I'm spending a lot of time in the Library at the moment.)

Sunday, 1st June 2008

Another ghost sign on Highfields Street - I'm not sure how I managed to miss it before. Shame it's so faded; would love to be able to read what its says.
